Here at Revive we advise to start off with an Initial Consult, this is a one hour private session for us to understand your needs & goals moving into your Pilates journey. This can be booked by email as it is by appointment only and will not be visible online.
-
You must have completed an IC if you are looking at participating in our clinical Pilates sessions. For Reformer, Barre, Matwork and Arc an IC is not compulsory, however we do recommend completing one so we can better understand your body and needs before coming to a group class.
-
YES. Even though you may have done Pilates elsewhere, for us to completely understand your needs, you will need an IC before coming into a Clinical Pilates class. You can book in for our 30min IC, which is designed for those who have attended Pilates before.
-
CONGRATULATIONS! You can still attend our classes at all stages of Pregnancy! Our Clinical Pilates is preferred which you can attend through every stage of your pregnancy journey. Reformer, Barre, Matwork & Arc is suitable through your early stages, but as bub grows we will need to modify your exercises and then swap you over to Clinical. If you have never attended Clinical before, you can book in for an IC to familiarise yourself with the equipment and also learn how to safely continue your exercise regime.
-
Our Clinical Pilates are tailored specifically to your individual needs which make them perfect for injury rehabilitation and also injury prevention. You do not need to stop exercising just because you have an injury (unless on doctor's orders of course!). If you have come from our group classes, you can complete a 30min IC to help familiarise yourself with the equipment and we can design a plan based around your injury or rehab!
-
You can buy a recurring monthly membership or a pack of classes depending on how many times you want to come per week. We offer a 3 per week or a 2 per week monthly membership which will be renewed every month on an automatic payment. Or you can buy packs in a 10, 20 or 30 block which last for 12 months. Memberships and packs are non-transferable.

In short, Clinical Pilates encompasses a multitude of Pilates apparatus and is suitable for all levels of fitness, injury, chronic pain, post-surgery and pre/postnatal. Reformer Pilates is all done on 1 piece of apparatus and is a group based work out where only slight modifications can be given.
This is not to say Clinical is "easier"! Some elite athletes turn to Clinical Pilates to hone their craft, and on the other hand Reformer Pilates is not going to be beneficial for someone who is working with an injury.
-
You do not have to have a recurring booking, however we are able to secure you a weekly time slot to keep you consistent with your exercise. You can also book week by week on the app yourself.
-
You can no longer claim with your private health fund at the studio, however some health funds depending on your level of cover do pay a percentage of the fee back - for example you have the "healthy lifestyle" benefits. Please check with your individual health provider.
